Zephyrus, or just Zephyr (Greek: ΖÎφυÏος, Zéphuros, “the west wind”), in Latin Favonius, is the Greek god of the west wind. The gentlest of the winds, Zephyrus is known as the fructifying wind, the messenger of spring.
